How do I use or apply this product?

Prior to injection, make sure that the solution is clear and particulate-free. Inject Belkyra subcutaneously into the fat tissue in the submental region. Do not inject intramuscularly or intradermally. To reduce the risk of skin ulceration and intradermal exposure, do not withdraw the needle while injecting. The number of injections needed varies depending on the amount of submental fat. Some patients may require up to 50 injections in a single treatment. A single treatment should not exceed 50 injections.
The injection should only be carried out by qualified doctors who are suitably trained. You should only perform the treatment after ruling out other possible causes of submental convexity (such as cervical lymphadenopathy or thyromegaly).

When should I use this product?

Belkyra (Kybella) is specially formulated to treat double chin (i.e. submental fullness). Due to the cytolytic actions of deoxycholic acid, Belkyra effectively eliminates the fat pocket under the chin for a more contoured jawline and neck. Do not use if the injection site is infected.
