    About Alidya

Alidya is one of the most effective injectable antilypodistrophic solutions for treating cellulite.
Patented by Dr. Pasquale Motolese and sometimes referred to as the 2nd Motolese Solution,
this is the first injectable focused solely on correcting gynoid lipodystrophy, otherwise known as
cellulite, and other skin disorders related to cellulite. Made by Ghiimas S.p.A., each package
contains 5 vials with 340 mg of powder, and 5 vials with 10 ml of solvent. Alidya utilizes mostly
amino acids to reduce the appearance of cellulite and dimpled skin, improving it’s overall look
and preventing more cellulite from forming. This makes it the most effective minimally invasive
solution for smoother, more toned skin.
For its components, Alidaya is made of poliamonacidic gel, a-D(+) glucopyranose, 1-4
glycosidic, etilendiaminotetraacetic sodium, amino acid buffer system with a bicarbonate-sodium
    corrector, and an osmolarity regulator

    What do these products treat?

Alidya treats cellulite in multiple areas of the body including buttocks, thighs, stomach, and
shoulders. It also prevents cellulite from further developing in areas where Alidya is applied.
Alidya is perfect for clients who want to reduce cellulite, smooth the overall appearance of the
skin, and reconstruct volume and enhance skin tension. Alidya is also used in post-liposuction
treatment and post-intralipotherapy treatment in order to correct the appearance of the skin.

    How do these products work?

Cellulite is primarily considered to be a product of poor circulation wherein decreased blood
flow through the blood vessels in the skin causes toxins to form in the tissue. These toxins,
including metal ions, become deposited into the skin tissue, causing damage.
Alidya works by removing the toxins and repairing the damage done. After injecting Alidya into
the skin tissue, the product then starts eliminating the toxins and starts repairing skin cells,
increasing blood flow to the area. The increased blood flow helps bring more oxygen to the skin,
further aiding the healing process. This results in smoother skin and reduced skin irregularities.

How long do the effects last?

Once the initial weekly treatment period is completed, Alidya injections should be administered
once a year too maintain the effect. The initial treatment sessions and how long the effects will
last will depend on the area being treated and the severity of the cellulite. Lifestyle and age can
also affect the length and effectiveness of the treatment.

    Are These Products Safe?

As an injectable product, Alidya treatment is non-surgical, minimally invasive, and a much more
safe solution for reducing the appearance of cellulite. As with any injectable, there may be a risk
of infection. Generally, recovery after treatment is very minimal, but clients are encouraged to
avoid using any cosmetic products on the treatment area for 10-12 hours after being injected.
Strenuous activities and direct exposure to heat or sunlight should also be avoided for a few
    days after the procedure.

Are there any side effects associated with these products?

While downtime or recovery after treatment is minimal, it is important to know the client’s
medical history prior to injecting the product. Alidya is cointraindicated against patients who are:
    ● pregnant or breastfeeding
    ● suffering from severe kidney or liver disease
    ● diabetic or have thyroid disorders
    ● suffering from blood diseases that may lead to excessive bleeding
    ● using blood thinners
The thin needle used for treatment makes pain less of a concern, but clients who are worried
may benefit from using a local or topical anesthetic. Aside from pain during injection, the
following side effects may be experienced after the treatment, but should resolve themselves
    within a few hours.
    ● light to moderate redness at the injection site
    ● Temporary bruising and swelling at injection site
    ● Episodes of transient pain
    ● Hypersensitivity or allergy reaction
If symptoms persist, or of any other reactions occur, clients are advised to contact their doctor.
