GARDASIL® 9 is an HPV vaccine that protects people aged 9 to 45 against most cancers of the cervix, vagina, vulva, penis, or anus caused by HPV. It is a safe and effective vaccine covering nine HPV types (6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58).

If you want to buy GARDASIL® to protect your patients from human papillomavirus infection, ask our sales team for more information. Note that even with HPV vaccination, patients still need to undergo cancer screenings and other health checkups.

What Is GARDASIL® 9 Used For?

GARDASIL® 9 is the most well-known brand of HPV vaccines, which can protect patients from over 90% of all HPV-caused cancers. HPV types 16 and 18 cause most HPV cancers and are included in the vaccine, but the product protects from seven other strains.

Since HPV also causes genital warts, vaccination can prevent them, too. In countries that conduct vaccination, cases of HPV cancers and genital warts have dropped by 88% among teenage girls and 81% among adult women since 2006. Furthermore, it has reduced the prevalence of cervical precancers.

How Long Does GARDASIL® 9 Last?

GARDASIL® 9 lasts a long time. Studies that have lasted for at least six years showed no evidence of its protective effects declining over time. The pre-approval trials showed that GARDASIL® vaccines were 100% effective in preventing cervical, vaginal, and vulvar HPV infections and HPV-caused precancers.

Given the importance of vaccinating large numbers of people to prevent the spread of cancer-causing infections, medical institutions tend to buy GARDASIL® wholesale to offer it at the best prices and protect as many patients as possible.

    GARDASIL® 9 Administration Techniques

GARDASIL® should only be administered by licensed medical professionals. It is administered intramuscularly in the deltoid region of the upper arm.

GARDASIL® should not be administered intradermally, subcutaneously, or intravenously.

Depending on the patient’s age and immune system, GARDASIL® can be administered in two or three doses:

    • Ages 9 to 14 – These patients can receive two or three doses. The period between the doses in a two-dose schedule should last between six and twelve months. The three-dose schedule is the same as with the older patient group.
    • Ages 15 to 45 – Vaccination is conducted following a three-dose schedule. The second shot is due two months after the first, and the third is due six months after the first dose.

    GARDASIL® 9 Product Range

The GARDASIL®  brand has several product ranges, depending on the number of strains the vaccine protects from:

    • GARDASIL®  – The vaccine protects against HPV types 6, 11, 16, and 18. It is not available in the US.
    • GARDASIL® 9  – The vaccine protects against HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58.

Medical professionals who want to buy GARDASIL® online will typically find only GARDASIL® 9, especially in the US.

    GARDASIL® 9 Side Effects

The most common side effects of GARDASIL® 9 are mild and brief. They can include:

    • Pain, swelling, redness, or a lump in the administration area
    • Painful joints or muscles
    • Fever
    • Fatigue
    • Headaches
    • Nausea
    • Dizziness or fainting

Dizziness and fainting are more common among adolescents. As fainting can cause falls, adolescents should sit or lie down for 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine.

Pregnant people and people who are sensitive to any of the vaccine’s ingredients should not receive GARDASIL®.

    GARDASIL® 9 vs. Competition

GARDASIL® is by far the most well-known brand of HPV vaccines, and it has been in use since 2006. There is another brand of HPV vaccine, the bivalent vaccine CERVARIX®, which provides protection against types 16 and 18 (responsible for 70% of HPV-caused cancers).

Both GARDASIL® and CERVARIX® are approved and used in many countries over the world, GARDASIL® in 126, and CERVARIX® in 100 countries.

However, CERVARIX® does not provide protection against seven other types of HPV, including those that cause genital warts. Also, the two vaccines are not interchangeable.

Finally, even if one vaccine is available and the other isn’t, it’s better to protect patients than risk infection with the strains most likely to cause cancer.

    Where Can I Buy GARDASIL® 9?

GARDASIL® should only be purchased and used by licensed medical professionals. It should also only be stored in proper conditions to preserve efficacy and patient safety. If you want to order GARDASIL® online, contact our team to find out more.
