Where and How MOUNJARO® Is Used

Starting dose: 2.5 mg once weekly, increased gradually every 4 weeks to 5–15 mg.

The active ingredient in all MOUNJARO® products is tirzepatide. Other ingredients help keep the injection stable and safe for use.

Active substance: Tirzepatide.
Excipients: Support solution stability.
Benzyl alcohol: Present in KwikPen doses (5.4 mg per 0.6 ml dose).
Sodium: Essentially sodium-free (<23 mg per dose).

How to Inject MOUNJARO®

Administration is straightforward, and most patients adapt quickly with the right training.

Use a subcutaneous injection into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
Rotate sites to reduce irritation.
Missed a dose? Administer within 4 days, otherwise skip and continue as scheduled.
When combining with insulin, inject into separate sites.

How to Store MOUNJARO®
